Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 26 July 2026

Draft: these terms are a working draft and haven't had legal review yet. They should be reviewed by the clinic before being relied on as a binding agreement with patients.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or booking a session through Safe Space, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

2. What Safe Space is

Safe Space is an online platform connecting patients with independent, licensed therapists for individual, couples, family, teen, and group sessions conducted by video, voice, or chat.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract to create an account. Sessions booked for a minor should be arranged and supervised by a parent or guardian.

4. Booking & payment

Session prices are set by each therapist and shown before you confirm a booking. See our Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy for details on changing or cancelling a session.

5. Not an emergency service

Safe Space is not equipped for crisis intervention or emergencies. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, please contact your local emergency services immediately.

6. Professional conduct

Therapists on our platform are independently licensed professionals responsible for their own clinical judgment. Safe Space facilitates the connection and platform but does not itself provide therapy.

7. Limitation of liability

Safe Space is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Safe Space is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform develops. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent via our Contact page.
